I WAS BORN TO BE A NOMAD

 

I took my first road trip when I was just 6 1/2 weeks old. My parents took me 8 hours from Panama City to Boca Raton. By the time I was 2, I'd been to the Smoky Mountains and Niagara Falls. And when I was 5, we went took our blue Ford car and matching blue and white Shasta travel trailer on a 4 month trip from Panama City, FL to Alaska and back.

The last trip of any length was when I was 13 and we did a circuit of the US, traveling from Panama City to Virginia Beach to Michigan to Washington State, down to California, and back home to Florida, in a little over 3 months.

I miss that. Now that my son is grown, and I have a job that allows me to work from anywhere, there's nothing to keep me at home. I can travel the country again! Join me as I work to make that happen.
